The Ontario Energy Board uses scorecards to encourage electricity distributors to operate effectively, continually seek ways to improve productivity and focus on improvements that their customers value.
The scorecard includes traditional metrics such as frequency of power outages, financial performance and costs per customer.

Tillsonburg, ON – The Town of Tillsonburg is pleased to announce that Michael Desroches will begin overseeing the Town’s hydro operations effective August 15, 2016.
The Shareholder of Tillsonburg Hydro Inc. (THI), being The Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg is seeking applications for Directors Positions to serve on its Board until the Annual General Meeting in June, 2017. THI provides safe and reliable electricity distribution services to residences and business within the Town of Tillsonburg. Interested applicants with skill sets such as Human Resource, Legal, Accounting, Corporate Governance experience or Industry Knowledge would be desirable. Tillsonburg Hydro Inc. would like to inform all of our valued customers of an upcoming planned Electricity transmission outage. Hydro One Networks Inc. (HONI) has notified Tillsonburg Hydro Inc. it has a planned transmission outage as part of a system upgrade scheduled for Sunday May 29th, 2016 from 5:00am to 9:00am. HONI has also advised that this outage is weather permitting and may be cancelled and rescheduled up to and including the day of the outage.
Tillsonburg Hydro Inc. endeavors to inform all of our valued customers of any changes to HONI’s planned transmission outages where/when possible. Advertisements have also been scheduled in Tillsonburg News and can be found on our website Tillsonburghydro.ca.

It has been brought to our attention that someone is contacting our customers and representing themselves as Tillsonburg Hydro employees. The fraudulent call may come from a 1-800 number. Your call display may even show Tillsonburg Hydro. If you are contacted by someone claiming to be a Tillsonburg Hydro employee and demanding immediate payment to avoid disconnection or asking that you send immediate payment to a transit number or to provide a credit card number, please do not provide any personal information.
Tillsonburg Hydro is reminding customers that we do contact customers regarding overdue balances, but that we do not collect credit card or bank account information over the telephone by a live agent. Customers are reminded that if they receive a call from someone representing Tillsonburg Hydro and you have doubt, hang up and call back at 519-688-3009 or 519-842-9200, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The OEB is alerting Ontarians to a possible telephone scam. The OEB has received reports that individuals, claiming to be affiliated with the Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP), were calling to request access into consumers’ homes. In two incidents last week, residents were contacted about the OESP, and notified that a home inspection was a condition of the program.
