Arranging for hydro service at your new address requires you to complete an application and sign a contract. New customers will also be asked to provide a security deposit.
To complete the application process, please choose one of the following options:

General Requirements
- Account holders must be 18 years of age or older
- You may name a primary and secondary customer
- Two pieces of identification (one with photo) must be presented with your application
Application Requirements
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Phone number(s)
- E-mail address
- Name of employer and address
Deposit Information
Security deposits are required for new Tillsonburg Hydro customers.
- The amount of the deposit will be determined by the usage of previous occupants (2.5 X monthly consumption)
- The deposit required for new construction will be determined by square footage of the property
- Deposits will be invoiced in four installments (i.e. on your first four bills)
- Deposits will be refunded one year after the date of your last deposit payment
The deposit requirement may be waived if you meet the following conditions:
- Have previous good credit history with Tillsonburg Hydro
- Provide a letter of credit from another utility
- Sign up for the pre-authorized payment program
